Anchor Bolts , Steel Buildings Foundation

10.1 Anchor bolts shall be designed to resist the maximum reactions resulting from loading combinations. Anchor bolts type and sizes shall be specified by the manufacturer. Anchor bolts WILL NOT be supplied by the manufacturer.

10.2 Foundation shall be adequately designed by a qualified foundation engineer to support the building reactions and other loads, which may be imposed by the building use. The design shall be based on the specific soil condition of the building site. Unless otherwise specified, the foundation engineer shall be retained by other than the building manufacturer. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for the integrity of the foundation.
