STEEL BUILDINGS FOUNDATIONS
Steel Building Information
Foundation design and construction are two of the most
important steps in the metal building process. Improper or
inadequate foundation construction will limit the metal
building performance and could lead to costly repair or rebuilding.
It is essential that the steel buildings foundations
meet design and load conditions. For this reason, all metal
buildings foundations should be designed by a local foundation
engineer, in accordance with applicable metal buildings codes.
Guidelines for foundation design are outlined on the
anchor bolt drawings furnished by the manufacturer.
General Metal Buildings Information

individual member, and: +_1/8" for all other dimensions.
